This section is intended for administrators who are responsible for installing European Localization for NetSuite and ensuring that users can access it. No configuration or technical setup is required after installation.
Before you begin, we recommend reviewing the General Setup Recommendations.
Although European Localization requires no configuration, the general guidelines may still be helpful, especially when using custom roles or Sandbox testing.
To install European Localization:
Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.
Search for the bundle using its bundle ID.
Click Install.
The installation runs automatically and does not require any additional steps.
After installation, the dashboard appears in the NetSuite navigation bar as European Localization Dashboard. It is immediately ready for use.
Note: No configuration, role setup, or parameter maintenance is required.
Once installed, the dashboard is fully functional without any configuration. It automatically applies the account’s country as the default filter and displays the available localization components for that country.
When a user submits an installation request, the system sends an automated notification to the provider. The provider then follows up directly with the customer.
No further setup or maintenance is required from the admin.
European Localization requires no configuration, and most issues can be resolved with the following checks:
Dashboard not visible: verify that the bundle is fully installed under Customization > SuiteBundler > Installed Bundles.
No localization components displayed: check that the NetSuite account’s country is maintained correctly, as the dashboard applies this filter automatically. Users can also remove or adjust the filter to view all available localization components.
Installation status incorrect: confirm that the corresponding localization components are installed in the account; the dashboard reads installation status automatically.
Installation request not received: ensure the user clicked Request Installation, and ask the provider to verify receipt of the automated notification.
Most issues can be resolved by checking the bundle installation or the account’s country settings. If problems persist, contact Alta Via Support.
