Employees can log in to the Quid portal or use the Slack bot to upload receipts, eliminating the need to manually file them in NetSuite.
The Slack app serves as the central hub for expense management activities: receipts are uploaded, reviewed, grouped into reports, and then submitted to NetSuite as expense reports.

Registration: Once your company is onboarded, you will receive a registration email from Quid. Please register using your company email address.
Access: After registration, you can use either the Slack bot or the Quid UI at https://dashboard.usequid.com.

Quick Commands (Slash Commands): The home page also shows quick commands you can type in the message bar for expenses, reports, travel, and help.
When you log in to https://dashboard.usequid.com, the home page provides options to upload expenses, create journeys, and generate reports.
This interface is an alternative to Slack and is useful for handling multiple receipts or reviewing existing expenses and reports.
Open the Slack app.
Navigate to the three dots (...) and then to Tools.
Under Tools, go to Apps and search for the Quid app.
Install the Quid app.
When you open the app, you will land on the Quid home page.
Navigate to the Messages tab in the Quid app and send a message such as “Hi Quid”. The bot will provide options: Upload Expense, Create Journey, and Create Report.
Click Upload Expense and upload your receipt. Quid will notify you once the document is processed.
Quid will display the details it found, including Amount, Tax Code, Expense Category, and Memo.
These fields are automatically selected, but you can edit the expense by clicking the Edit Expense button.
If you uploaded a travel receipt, Quid may also detect a journey. You can click Create Journey to log it or exclude it if unnecessary.
Once you verify the expense, click Add to Report. You can add multiple expenses to a single report.
In the Create an Expense Report pop-up, you must add a Description.
You can also add multiple expenses in the Expenses field and select journeys in the Journeys field.
After the report is created, you will see the details and be prompted to Edit Report, Submit, or View on Quid.
After verifying the details, click Submit. This action will create an expense report in NetSuite.
You can also submit a standalone travel journey to NetSuite.
Start a conversation with Quid and click the Create Journey button.
A pop-up will appear where you can add the Start Date, End Date, Start Time (optional), End Time (optional), Start Location, Destination, and Destination Country. Click Create Journey.
Click Add to Report. You can choose to Assign to an Existing Report or Create a New Report. Click Add.
The journey details will be displayed. Click Submit to send the travel journey to NetSuite.
Log in to https://dashboard.usequid.com.
On the home page, you have the option to upload expenses, create journeys, and generate reports.
Click Upload & Extract.
Select the files. You also have the option to drag and drop multiple files. Then click Upload.
The uploaded receipts can be viewed on the Expenses tab.
Open an expense and verify the extracted data. The AI will automatically source the Amount, Tax Code, Expense Category, and Memo. All fields are editable.
Navigate to the Expense Reports tab and click + New Expense Report.
A new pop-up window will appear where you can select the uploaded expenses and add them to a report by entering the Description. Then click Create Report.
The created expense report will be available under the Expense Reports tab. You have the option to edit or add expenses to the same report. Once the data is verified, you can send it to NetSuite by clicking Submit to NetSuite.
Once the report is transmitted to NetSuite, the status of the report will be Submitted.
Use your company email during onboarding to ensure correct permissions.
